# Ambassador Program

The onocoy Ambassador Program brings together technical experts, regional advocates, and industry connectors to help grow decentralized GNSS positioning.

Whether you're helping station hosts set up hardware, introducing onocoy to local companies, or building a regional network, this program gives you direct team support and token rewards for your real-world contributions.

## Ambassador Roles

### 💻Tech Ambassador

**Best fit for:** Anyone with hands-on technical experience — hardware builders, GNSS/RTK operators, tech hobbyists, IT/network installers, or developers.

**What you'll do:**

* Help new station hosts configure and bring their hardware online.
* Write or translate setup guides, video tutorials, and troubleshooting tips into your local language.
* Share your own station deployments, antenna placement setups, and performance data.
* Answer technical questions in our Discord, forums, and regional chat groups.

### 📣Ecosystem & Regional Ambassador

**Best fit for:** Community leads, networkers, academics, researchers, or industry professionals who can connect onocoy with their regional or professional ecosystem.

**What you'll do:**

* Introduce onocoy to local networks, companies, research groups, or user communities (e.g., in agriculture, robotics, surveying, drones, or IoT).
* Identify strategic locations or high-demand regions and help onboard new station hosts.
* Represent onocoy in local forums, industry meetups, online communities, or regional events.
* Adapt, translate, or share onocoy updates and educational resources for your local market.

How It Works We skipped long probation periods. Getting started is simple and collaborative:

Tell us about your background, location, and how you want to contribute.

**Step 2: Plan with a Mentor**

Meet with an onocoy team member to agree on realistic goals based on your strengths.

**Step 3: Set Milestones**

Define specific, achievable targets (e.g., translating a guide, onboarding 3 stations, or introducing an industry partner).

**Step 4: Build & Earn**

Complete your milestones and earn $ONO tokens for your work.
